<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell which includes a layer containing Zn, Mg, and O and can be made efficient, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a p-type semiconductor layer located between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer, and a layer A located between the second electrode and the p-type semiconductor layer; the layer A contains Ca, Sr, Ba, Al, at least one kind of element M selected from among In and Ga, Zn, Mg, and O; and the solar cell produces photovoltaic force by light incident from the second electrode layer side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
