THERMALLY STABLE PVDF PRODUCING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing homopolymers or copolymers of vinylidene fluoride (VDF), especially carrying out a radical (co)polymerization of VDF by using a peroxodisulfate as a polymerization initiator (initiator) in an aqueous medium mixed with sodium acetate. SOLUTION: The process comprises a step mixing sodium acetate in initiation stage, in polymerizing stage or after polymerization, if necessary, a step mixing a potassium alkylsulfonate after polymerization, a step collecting the aqueous dispersion of the PVDF, and a step collecting the PVDF by spray-drying the collected PVDF dispersion without washing, with air heated to 120-220°C.
