<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which enables an operator to easily know the distance from a first point to a second point on image data even when the image data is scrolled. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device comprises an image data memory section 1, a display element 2, an input section 3 provided with an operation unit 22 and a control section 4. The control section 4 calculates the scroll direction and scroll amount of the image data 6 displayed on the display element 2 based on the first position signal (a) and the second position signal (b), scrolls map data 6 on a display screen 2a, calculates the reference distance (l) based on the reduction rate of the image data 6 displayed on the display screen 2a, and drives actuators 23 and 24 every time the scroll amount of the image data 6 attains the reference distance (l) and the multiple thereof, thereby imparting prescribed sense of force to the operation unit 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
