PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift device capable of conducting mounting of any object to be elevated and lowered onto an elevating/lowering table without obstruction and setting low the lowermost sunk position of the table. SOLUTION: The lift device 10 is structured so that the elevating/lowering table 11 whereon the object is placed elevates and lowers in the vertical direction relative to a base 15 through the motion of scissor links 12 and 13. The scissor links 12 and 13 are installed on link supports 19 on both sides of the table 11, and an elevating/lowering mechanism 14 to operate the scissor links 12 and 13 is installed on the base 15 in such a positioning as mating with the link supports 19 of the table 11.
