SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING MEDIA CONTENTS FILE OF HOME MEDIA CENTER

PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing a media contents file of a home media center are provided to simply perform a work for editing the media contents file included in various information home appliances on a screen of a display device connecting to the home media center controlling various digital information home appliances through a home network. CONSTITUTION: A control signal input part(310) receives a control signal transmitted from an input device(200) for controlling the home media center(100). A media contents manager(330) generates a searching window for displaying the media contents file or an editing window displaying the media contents file, and searches/manages the media contents file through the windows. A memory(320) stores the media contents file edited by the media contents file manager. A display driver(340) displays an editing result for the media contents file. An interface(360) accesses the media contents file stored in other information home appliances(S1-Sn).
