PURPOSE: A system for printing a color image, and a device, a method, and a computer-readable recording medium for processing information are provided to efficiently function a receiving buffer memory if data of each recording color component is compressed/encoded/transmitted to a printer from an information processing device. CONSTITUTION: A DMA(Direct Memory Access) controller(12) stores the image data received through a USB(Universal Serial Bus) port(11) to a memory(13), and control data transfer of the image data to each decoding circuit(14Y,14M,14C,14K). The decoding circuits decode/output the image data stored in the memory to a printer engine(15). The printer engine performs printing based on the image data output from the decoding circuits depending on control of a control circuit(16).
