PURPOSE: A preparation method of a carbon coated brick and a firing furnace for preparing the carbon coated brick are provided to produce a good carbon coated brick in a high yield. CONSTITUTION: The firing furnace(51) for preparing a carbon coated brick comprises a structure composed of fireproof walls(52) cut off from the outside and having a space to stack the bricks in; an injection port(60) to supply a carburization material from outside to inside of the structure; an exhaust port(58) installed on a lower part of the structure and exhausting a combustion gas generated at firing the bricks; and a heating member to fire the bricks in the structure. |
