PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain dryer having a simple constitution and capable of restricting errors in detecting the accumulated amount of grains in a stabilizing tank due to temperature change in the stabilizing tank, irregular reflection of ultrasonic waves and charging/discharging conditions and the like. SOLUTION: The grain dryer 1 comprises a ultrasonic sensor 9 for detecting the accumulated amount of grains to be dried in the tempering tank 2, a temperature sensor for detecting treatment temperature for drying control, and an operation control part 6 for controlling the operation of structural equipment via signals from these. The operation control part 6 is constituted so as to correct the accumulated amount of grains detected by the ultrasonic sensor 9 in accordance with the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 12b for drying control.
