PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing pipe, a pile, and a press-fitting method for the pile causing no ground subsidence after preceding boring or installation of the pipe. SOLUTION: A female junction 21 of the existing pile 15-n and a male junction 5 of the casing pipe 1 are engaged, and the casing pipe 1 is pressed into the ground 25 while jetting a jet 35 from a nozzle 9 provided in the inner peripheral surface near a tip part 8 of the casing pipe 1. Then the female junction 21 of the existing pipe 15-n and a male junction 19 of a newly installed pipe 15-(n+1) are engaged, and the pile 15-(n+1) is disposed at the tail end 37 in the press-fitting direction of the casing pipe 1. The pile 15 is provided with a coating material 23 beforehand so that the casing pipe 1 and pile 15 coincide with each other in the cross-sectional shape. The pile 15-(n+1) is then pressed into the ground, and the pushed-out casing pipe 1 is removed in order from the front side in the press-fitting direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
