<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or prevent a radar false image due to structures of its own ship of an object while moving like a vessel. <P>SOLUTION: In the radar installation, a detection determination means 1 of a false image level and a level adjusting means 2 are installed in a radar signal processor 14 or the like. An occurrence of the radar false image is detected by the detection determination means 1. By determination and identification of the occurrence, an occurrence region and level of the false image are automatically obtained and stored. A level of a received signal is reduced by the amount of leveling stored in the detection determination means by the level adjusting means 2, thereby reducing the radar false image, without deteriorating a radar performance in the other display region where the false image is not present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
