The electronic ticket (17) exchanges data with a RF reader (8) positioned on a turnstile (3), using traditional transponder technology. The ticket is formed using an existing microprocessor (1), memory (12) and coder/decoder (13) of the mobile unit, which is integrated with an additional software (5) and hardware (4) via an application interface (19) to simulate RF ID type data exchange with the reader. The ticket also uses the mobile unit's power supply, display (2) and keyboard (18). An Independent claim is also included for the application of the electronic ticket as an entrance ticket, payment medium, for authorization of access and time logging.
