FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method and a device for agglomeration of powders and it is dealt with the food-processing industry, in particular with the food product like, for example, instant coffee, coffee substitutes, vegetable proteins, milk and similar to milk of products, as well as the coloring agents and agrochemicals. The method of agglomeration of powders provides, that a powder is getting in contact with the agglomerating fluid medium moving on the way to the surface, where the agglomerated powder will be gathered. Then the agglomerated powder is moved to a point spaced from the moving surface and is mixed under action of a centrifugal force. At that all sections of the moving surface are transported with an equal speed. The agglomerated powder is transported to a point remote from the moving surface with the help of a centrifugal acceleration, making at least of 50 m/s2. The device for realization of the method contains the moving surface for gathering the agglomerated powder, a tool to force the powder being the subject to an agglomeration to make contact with one or several agglomerating liquid mediums on the way to the moving surface and a tool to make the indicated surface moving. The moving surface has a shape ensuring motion of all its sections with equal speed at operation of the device that is capable to receive the agglomerated powder at centrifugal acceleration at least of 50 m/s2 for its displacement to a point remote from the moving surface. The invention ensures a uniform distribution of the sizes of the agglomerated particles and does not need a repeated treatment, that may make worse the quality of a product.
