PURPOSE: A portable repeater installed at the antenna of a mobile terminal is provided to install a portable repeater at the antenna coupler of a mobile terminal so that a user can make a call with the other side even in an area where the signal strength is weak. CONSTITUTION: A portable repeater consists of a receiving antenna(21), a receiving filter(22), a low noise amplifier(23), a transmit-receive selector(24), a power amplifier(26), a transmitting filter(27), and a transmitting antenna(28). The receiving antenna(21) receives RF signals. The receiving filter(22) passes only a desired frequency-band RF signal among the RF signals received from the receiving antenna(21). The low noise amplifier(23) amplifies the RF signal outputted through the receiving filter(22). The transmit-receive selector(24) transfers the amplified RF signal to an antenna coupler(25), and outputs an RF signal, transferred from the antenna coupler(25), separately from the low noise amplifier(23). The power amplifier(26) amplifies the RF signal outputted through the transmit-receive selector(24). The transmitting filter(27) passes a desired frequency-band RF signal among the RF signals outputted through the power amplifier(26). The transmitting antenna(28) transmits the RF signal outputted from the transmitting filter(27).
