PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of easily finding an originalincomplete in conmunication and reducing the possibility of being a communication error again by facilitating the discrimination of its contents and making it possible to sufficiently recognize why communication fails, how to avoid failure, or the like when a user wants to send the original again. SOLUTION: This facsimile machine prints an original on the front face of recording paper, and the opposite party, the communication contents, date and hour, a transmitted mark, or the like on the rear face after the communication is finished. When the communication fails, the facsimile machine prints the original on the front face of the recording paper, and the factor of the failure, an avoiding method or the like on the rear face. In addition, when the user tries to retransmit the original again by using the transmitted original, the facsimile machine has a function for emitting a warning if the original has already been transmitted successfully. Thus, information such as the original contents, the reason why the communication fails, a failure avoiding method, or the like is sufficiently outputted to a report of one sheet for one communication as in the conventional manner.
