The invention comprises dyes of the formula <FORM:1094791/C4-C5/1> where X is oxygen or sulphur; R1 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms; R2 is hydroxy, amino or substituted amino; R3 and R4 are hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or cycloalkyl, and R5 is hydrogen, halogen or alkyl or alkoxy of 1-4 carbon atoms. The compounds are prepared by reacting a compound of the formula <FORM:1094791/C4-C5/2> with excess chlorosulphonic acid at 10-30 DEG C., and reacting the resulting sulphonic acid chloride with excess of a compound of the formula R3-NH-R4.
