摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a diameter of an endoscope insertion part and to obtain a satisfactory three-dimensional picture even when reducing the diameter. <P>SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus is provided with a pair of right and left imaging means 34R and 34L comprising objective optical systems 31R and 31L and CCDs (charge coupled devices) 33R and 33L. In a columnar body inscribed in an outer package pipe 41, holes 36H for holding the imaging means 34R and 34L arranged in a horizontal direction are provided, and upper and lower parts of this columnar body are cut off to form an imaging means holding part 36 to mount light guides 42U and 42D in upper and lower spaces formed between this imaging means holding part 36 and the pipe 41. In front of these light guides 42U and 42D, light guide protection plates 43U and 43D are arranged, these light guide protection plates 43U and 43D are integrated with a pre-lens 44, and this integrated part is caulked and fixed with a distal end part 41F of the pipe 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
