PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fixing efficiency and the print image quality of a fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device has: a first roller; a second roller disposed opposite to the first roller; a fixing belt 14 stretched between the first roller and the second roller; a third roller disposed in contact with the fixing belt 14; a heat source for heating at least one of the first to third rollers; and a pressure member, disposed between the first roller and the second roller, which energizes the fixing belt 14 to the third roller 3 from inside. The pressure member has a curved face that is substantially opposite to the external surface of the third roller. The first or second roller, which is located on the upstream side in the direction in which a medium is transported, is situated in a direction so as to be separated from the third roller rather than from a tangent at the edge of the heat member.
