PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking utensil having an operating portion that is easy to use and takes safety into consideration. SOLUTION: This cooker comprises an opening/closing operation panel 7 having an operation surface capable of being stored, a first switch 4 for a utensil power source provided on the operation surface 1, and a second switch 8 for a power source provided at a different position from the operation surface 1. Therefore, the operation surface 1 is opening/closing type that rotates to be stored, so that at the time of opening, the operation surface 1 is easily used with an angle slightly tilted, and at the time of closing, the operation surface 1 is neat in design because only one switch is provided on the operation panel 7. Since, the second switch 8 for the power source is provided on a front side of the utensil, even when the operation surface 1 is stored during being used, a user can turn off the switch and stop heating without opening the operation surface 1 again.
