PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device for reducing vibration or noise generated when an internal combustion engine is started with reduced occupied space for a power mechanism. SOLUTION: This vibration control device 79 for a diesel engine 49 is provided between a foundation bed 71 and a base plate 81 having the diesel engine 49 on it. It comprises a lower plate 83 disposed on the side of the foundation bed 71, an upper plate 85 disposed on the side of the base plate 81, a protruded part 87 provided on the lower plate 83, a protruded part 89 provided on the upper plate 85, and a vibration control rubber member 86 held between the upper plate 85 and the lower plate 83.
