PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the strength of a lens barrel using a synthetic resin cam barrel, to improve the optical performance of the lens barrel and to attain the miniaturization of the lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel constituted of a fixed barrel, the cam barrel arranged adjacent to the inside or the outside of the fixed barrel, a straight advancing barrel arranged adjacent to the inside or the outside of the cam barrel and an annular member arranged outside or inside the straight advancing barrel, is characterized in that the lens barrel is provided with a 1st reinforcing means arranged on the subject side of the annular member and a 2nd reinforcing means arranged on the subject side of at least one of the fixed barrel and the cam barrel.
