PURPOSE: An array substrate of a flat panel display is provided to improve product yield and increase storage capacitance without reducing aperture rate. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate of a flat panel display includes a plurality of gate lines formed on an insulating substrate in the first direction, a plurality of data lines formed intersecting the gate lines in the second direction, and a plurality of common lines(118) formed in the same direction as the direction of the gate lines, having a predetermined distance from the gate lines. A capacitor electrode(120) is branched from the common lines. The array substrate further includes a thin film transistor formed at each of the intersections of the gate lines and data lines, a storage capacitor that is connected to the thin film transistor and has an auxiliary capacitor(130) electrode having a black part(140) at the boundary of the common line and storage capacitor, and a pixel electrode connected to the auxiliary capacitor electrode. |
