PURPOSE: A method for controlling intake air supply when a vehicle is in an idle state is provided to prevent the vibration and stall of an engine by introducing intake air for keeping idle speed from a control unit for fuel evaporated gas when an idle speed control valve is out of order. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling intake air supply when a vehicle is in an idle state comprises the steps of: judging an idle speed control valve to be in trouble if an intake air amount measuring unit monitors a necessary intake air amount to keep idle state, and a measured intake air of an insufficient amount is not supplemented; operating a warning unit and a diagnosis system; and opening an outer air introduction line, and supplying necessary intake air through a supply valve.
