PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calculation method for Fourier transform for unevenly spaced timestamped network data. SOLUTION: As one of methods for dealing with unevenly sampled timestamped data, data are interpolated to obtain evenly spaced samples, afterwards, data are evenly sampled again and continuously, FFT is carried out with respect to the resampled data. By utilizing arbitrary assumptions such as 0th-order hold, 1st-order hold and polynomial in the case of resampling, resampling values are found at desired evenly spaced time points. When the time between samples is long, the estimate is computed incrementally. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
