PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply correct the name of a mount model. SOLUTION: One of processing boards mounted inside a television receiver is equipped with software for data rewrite. A title of reading the model name in a service menu in a data rewrite processing program is clicked and a correct model name is clicked from common use model names written in a model name read file. Clicking the model name registers the mounted model name to a prescribed area of a memory means of the processing board. Then the model name is rewritten into a correct mount model name and registered in the processing board. When the mount model name actually mounted is written in addition to the common model name in this way, since the correspondence between the processing board and the model name of the electronic device actually mounted can be taken in the case of recycling the processing board and collecting fault data, the fault data or the like can be stored, analyzed, and then utilized for succeeding design or the like.
