The plant is characterised by a unit 1 that automatically applies the filler to the rubber coated metallic rings and by an apparatus 9 that automatically feeds the rubber coated metallic rings and that takes back the metallic rings once the filler has been applied on them. Same apparatus 9 transfers the rings with filler to the unit 11, which feeds the assembling unit of the tyres.
