<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective color liquid crystal display device in which the transmittance and the color reproducibility are both heightened. <P>SOLUTION: A group of arrayed protrusions is formed on a glass substrate 2 and the group of the arrayed protrusions is coated with a light reflection film 4a and an alignment layer 5. Also color filters 7 respectively arranged on respective pixels are formed on a glass substrate 6 and an overcoat layer 8, a transparent electrode 9 and an alignment layer 10 are formed thereon. The color filters 7 consist of respective coloring layers of red, blue and green and the ratios of transmittance of the red coloring layer to that of the green coloring layer and to that of the blue coloring layer are set to be 1.0-1.2:1.5-1.7:1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
