<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device and a recording and reproducing method for enabling a user to successively download desired contents in formation order by a simple operation while confirming the contents from preformed contents in distributing the contents. <P>SOLUTION: An audio device 10 has a communication means 34 for communicating with a network, a storage means 31 for storing downloaded perceptive information, a reproducing means 35 for reproducing the perceptive information, an input means 36 for inputting operation information, a memory card (a recording medium) 16 for recording location information for downloading the perceptive information on a formed fraction and complete perceptive information of the perceptive information on the fraction, a reading means 32 for reading in information of the memory card 16, and a control means 33 for controlling the respective means. The control means 33 reproduces the perceptive information on the fraction in formation order, and executes control for preserving information in the storage means 31 by acquiring the complete perceptive information of the perceptive information on the fraction by downloading the information on the basis of the location information when the user indicates download at respective reproducing times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
