PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trapping device capable of preventing or reducing the phenomenon that a liquid is carried over from a gas/liquid separator to a gas exhausting passage. SOLUTION: The trapping device is provided with a gas/liquid separator 1 having a gas/liquid separating chamber 12 which separates a gas/liquid mixed flow M into a liquid and a gas, and a liquid draining vessel 2 storing the liquid separated by the gas/liquid separator 1 in a liquid storing chamber 30 and discharging the specified amount or larger of the liquid when the stored amount of the liquid becomes the specified amounts or more. A bypass passage 52a taking a detour around the gas/liquid separating chamber 12 is provided between an upper space storing the gas of the gas/liquid separating chamber 30 and a gas exhausting passage 18 exhausting the gas separated by the gas/liquid separator. The gas of the liquid storing chamber 30 can be exhausted through the bypass passage 52a to the gas exhausting passage 18 by using the flow of the gas flowing in the gas exhausting passage 18.
