PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wallpaper adsorbing a harmful substance in a room. SOLUTION: This wallpaper is obtained by laminating a base material on the back surface of a base paper for a wallpaper, imparting (a print pattern) and emboss, covering the surface with an antifouling surface layer, and punching many fine holes from the surface layer. The base paper for the wallpaper comprises a beaten pulp, diatomite, and an additive for enhancing the bonding strength between the diatomite and the pulp, and obtained by carrying out the papermaking thereof.
