摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radiation-curing composition from which a cured product excellent in the pattern accuracy or the like is obtained, to obtain an optical waveguide by using the above composition having low optical transmission loss in the initial stage and keeping stable optical characteristics even in a long-term storage environment under high humidity, and to provide a method for manufacturing the waveguide. <P>SOLUTION: The curing composition for the formation of an optical waveguide contains (A) at least one compound selected from a group consisting of hydrolyzable silane compounds expressed by general formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>pSi(X)4-p, hydrolyzed products and condensed products thereof and (B) a defoaming agent.
