PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition capable of artificially imparting color resembled to natural suntan to the skin by a simple, effective, rapid, and non- hazardous method. SOLUTION: This composition contains (i) at least one self-tanning agent, and (ii) an amino-substituted 2-hydroxybenzophenone derivative represented by formula (I) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like, and may forma a 5- or 6-membered ring in combination with a nitrogen atom; R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are each an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or the like; X is a hydrogen atom, a COOR<SP>5</SP>group or a CONR<SP>6</SP>R<SP>7</SP>group; R<SP>5</SP>, R<SP>6</SP>and R<SP>7</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, a 1-20C alkyl group or the like; Y is -(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>2</SB>-, -(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>3</SB>- or the like; Z is -CH<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>3</SB>, -CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>3</SB>or the like; m is an integer of 0-3; n is an integer of 0-3; and o is an integer of 1-2] in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle.
