摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction member and its manufacturing method comprised of a core, that is, a supporting region, and at least one friction layer and reinforced by fibers, compared with prior arts. SOLUTION: A ceramic friction territory made of a ceramic, especially Si and SiC, and a friction disk comprising a friction member composed of a core territory made of fiber reinforced C/SiC, especially C/SiC reinforced by long fiber fabric and a short fiber, a clutch disk for a friction clutch especially conveying driving force of a vehicle, or a ceramic compound material are manufactured by a fluid siliconizing method being effective technically and economically, in which strength of a C/SiC friction disk and sticking force between the friction territory and a supporting territory are improved, and a friction surface is set up to be optimum conditions to friction and wear.
