Pharmaceutical aerosol formulations comprising: (A) a therapeutic agent in the form of particles coated by at least one coating excipient and at least one surfactant, in suspension in (B) a liquefied propellant gas for the administration of therapeutic agents particularly by the pulmonary route and to a process for preparing these formulations.
