PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CS-RZ optical clock signal generator which is stable even in an extremely high frequency. SOLUTION: In the generator of a CS-RZ optical clock signal in a prescribed clock frequency, the optical signal generator is provided with first and second laser sources, in which the laser frequency of at least one light source can be controlled, for respectively generating first and second continuous lightwaves, a coupling means located for the purpose of receiving the first and second lightwaves, suitable for forming optical beats at a beat frequency and a photo- electronic feedback for servo-controlling the laser source of the adjustable frequency so that the beat frequency equal to the difference between laser frequencies can become substantially equal to the clock frequency. |
