摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch of a mechanical automatic transmission equipped with a clutch control device preventing friction abrasion of a joining surface of the clutch by decreasing a slipping action of the clutch at its start, and furthermore to provide a clutch enabling smooth start on a road of low friction such as a snowy or muddy one. SOLUTION: In an automatic clutch control system of the mechanical automatic transmission equipped with friction plate type of an automatic clutch, there are provided with a clutch stroke detecting means (26a) for detecting a clutch stroke making the clutch disengage or engage, and a control unit (25) for controlling joint condition of the clutch. The control unit (25) is provided with control function controlling the clutch stroke in such a way that, when the time period of half joining clutch condition exceeds a predetermined holding time period (A) of a half joining clutch at the start by using the automatic clutch, loose joining is forcibly applied, increasing gradually a joining ratio thereafter to keep the loose joining during a predetermined loose joining duration (B), so that the joining ratio at the end of the predetermined loose joining duration (B) is kept during the predetermined duration (C) to increase the joining ratio.</p>
