<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a magnetic multiple-disc clutch in which stable creep torque can be transmitted without bringing about an abrupt change in a torque increasing pace, in an electromagnetic clutch's creep torque control apparatus that is intervened between an engine and a gear change mechanism of an automatic transmission and has hysteresis in its current vs. torque characteristic, and further to provide a controlling method thereof. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic clutch generates joining torque by an electromagnet and electromagnetic force yielded by a current flowing through the electromagnet. Moreover, the electromagnetic clutch has hysteresis in a current vs. torque characteristic showing relationship between the current and the joining torque. There is provided a creep torque controlling means for controlling creep torque by outputting a control current so that such a torque characteristic in relation to the current can be obtained that the torque increasing pace increases without abrupt change thereof in accordance with increase in the current.</p> |
