PURPOSE: An Internet call system using a USB(Universal Serial Bus) phone and a video camera is provided to service a voice and video call and various multimedia communication contents without the connection of a web browser. CONSTITUTION: A USB phone(102) connects to a USB port composed in a client computer(100) connected to the Internet(130), and performs a voice call by the input of an object number and a call button. A video camera(120) connects to the USB port of the client computer(100), photographs a client, and transmits the photographed image through the Internet(130). A billing server(140) inquires an IP(Internet Protocol) address and a password of the client computer(100) connected to the Internet(130) and checks whether the client is a member. If the client is the member, an authentication server(160) authenticates whether the call request of the client is admitted. A gatekeeper(150) recognizes the object number transmitted from a client computer(101) connected to the Internet(180), and checks whether the object is in a call possible state. If the call approval of the object exists, the gatekeeper(150) transmits voice and image data.
