PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coping with the increase of additional functions without increasing the number of input keys, reducing costs and further improving operability although the number of the input keys tends to increase in electronic devices such as personal computers according to the increase of additional functions, and the input key must be small-sized and can not be smoothly used since miniaturization and weight reducing are required in the electronic device which may be hand-carried by a user. SOLUTION: In the electronic device, at least one input key comprises a two-stage press input switch 100 and functions such as a delete & backspace key 304a and a shift & control key 304b are allocated to this input key.
