METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS ACCORDING TO ACCESS AUTHORITY OF USER ON PC

PURPOSE: A method and a device for controlling an access according to an access authority of a user on a PC are provided to prevent leakage of the important data stored in a computer by protecting a file and a folder from the user without a just access authority. CONSTITUTION: A user authority management part(702) stores the access authority for each user by receiving the access authority for the files and the folders. A user monitoring part(703) monitors the present user using the computer. A file control command monitoring part(704) intercepts a file control command of an application program before the command is inputted to a file system manager. A user file access controlling part(705) permits the user having the access authority for the file and the folder to control the file by deciding the access authority of the user based on the stored access authority information for the file and the folder.
