<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple piece solid golf ball wherein the flying performance is increased without spoiling the excellent durability and the favorable ball-hitting feeling. SOLUTION: This multiple piece solid golf ball comprises a core (1), at least one layer of an internal layer cover (2) which is formed on the core, and an external layer cover (3) which covers the internal layer cover. In such a multiple piece solid golf ball, the surface hardness by JIS-C hardness of the core (1) is larger by at least 25 than the central hardness. Then, the hardness by the JIS-C hardness of the internal layer cover (2) is larger than the surface hardness of the core (1) by less than 15. Also, the hardness by the JIS-C hardness of the external layer cover (3) is larger than the hardness of the internal layer cover (2) by 5 or more.</p> |
