FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: structure space frame includes polyhedral cells installed on one another with formation of required shape of structure. Each polyhedral cell is formed from load-carrying members made in the form of regular trihedral pyramids whose bases are in the form of equilateral triangle and directed outside; horizontal and vertical ties connecting said pyramids with formation of rhombocubooctahedron. Regular trihedral pyramids may be hollow and truncated. Rhombocubooctahedrons in frame are interconnected by respective side, upper and lower faces to form vertical structure. To form arch structure, rhombocubooctahedrons are interconnected by corresponding inclined faces. Said space frames are used in erection of structures subject to sign-variable dynamic loads.
