PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and efficient deodorizing device for living goods directly sterilizing and deodorizing in a short time while preventing a user from erroneously inhaling ozone when using a storage box. SOLUTION: This deodorizing device for living goods has a storage box 1 for storing living goods, an ozone generator 2 for feeding ozone into the storage box, an ozone decomposer and a fan for exhaustion on an ozone exhaust pass 3. The storage box 1 is provided with a lock device 4 for locking doors 11 and 12 for putting in and out living goods into closed state, and the lock device has an unlock function for the lock device f just for prescribed time after the supply of ozone into the storage box 1 is stopped when opening the doors 11 and 12 for putting in and out living goods.
