PURPOSE: Provided is a rubber composition for a tire tread, which has improved chip cut ability, abradability, processability, dispersibility, rotation-resistance, and brake ability on a wet road. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition comprises: 100pts.wt. of a raw rubber containing 30-100pts.wt. of styrene-butadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature of -50 to -10deg.C; 10-120pts.wt. of silica having a CTAB value of less than 400m¬2/g, a BET value of less than 400m¬2/g, and a DOP value of less than 400ml/100g; 5-20pts.wt. of a starch/plasticizer complex, wherein the starch is selected from yeast peel obtained in the process of sugar beets, the sugar beets dried, ground, and powdered, wooden powder, and cellulose powder and the plasticizer is a polymer selected from a copolymer comprising a monomer selected from polyvinyl alcohol, vinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate, acrylic acid, and methacrylic acid and an olefin monomer, an aliphatic polyester, and an aliphatic polyamide; 2-8pts.wt. of a trialkylamine compound or a trialkylphosphate compound as a basic compound. |
