PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make rotatable a card-shaped recording medium around the central part of a card, and to make stably recordable and reproducible data. SOLUTION: The card-shaped recording medium 1 is provided with a center hole 2 at the central position of the medium 1, outer peripheral part tracks 3 formed into a circular arc shape resulting from lack of a part of concentric circles or spirals with the center hole 2 as the center, inner peripheral part tracks 4 which are concentric circles or spirals with the center hole 2 as the center inside the outer peripheral part tracks 3, gap areas 5 for switching the servo control between the outer peripheral part tracks 3 and the inner peripheral part tracks 4, servo drawing areas 6a and 6b for drawing servos again at the position where an optical pickup part 12 advances into the outer peripheral part tracks 3, end of data detecting areas 7a and 7b for detecting the end of an area to record data at the position where the optical pickup part 12 leaves the outer peripheral part tracks 3, and recording/reproducing areas 8a and 8b for recording and reproducing data. |
