PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of preventing improper operation of a steering mechanism part by reducing an assist force of a power cylinder at the maximum steering angle. SOLUTION: A steering angle sensor 16 detecting a steering angle θ is connected to a controller C, which computes or stores the steering angle θ by a signal from the steering angle sensor 16, a set angle θ1 smaller than the maximum steering angle in the steering angle θ, and a solenoid current command value Iθe corresponding to the steering angle θ. On the other hand, if the steering angle θ exceeds the set angle θ1 , the solenoid current command value Iθe is controlled as a limit value for an output value from a basic control part 20 to reduce an assist force of the power cylinder. |
