The invention relates to live activity and is directed to reduce stress loads. The inventive method for the presentation of time information consists in modifying the colour of the luminescent part of an indicator with respect to the time. Said modification is performed without visual jumps or with respect to time, a minimum of one boundary colours being modified. The colour of the information field of the indicator is modified in space or according to the specified frequency in time and/ or space within the limits of said boundary colours. Waking time is taken as an instant of time from which and/or to which the time interval is counted. The inventive device for indicating time comprises a liquid-crystal display, a multicolour or full-colour light-emitting diode whose crystals have a current ratio dependent on time, or a light source and a light filter having a variable chrominance. The light filter is arranged behind the display, the light source being arranged behind the light-filter. The display is embodied in such a way that it is possible to modify the transparency of separate parts thereof in certain relation to time, thereby modifying the perceived colour of light passed through the display. The inventive indicator comprises different crystals and is embodied in such a way that it is possible to modify the emission colour.
