STRUCTURE OF HYBRID PDP DISPLAY PANEL DEVICE

PURPOSE: A structure of hybrid PDP display panel device is provided to minimize height of a barrier rib and improve lighting efficiency by forming the electrodes receiving an RF signal on the barrier rib of the PDP. CONSTITUTION: A Y-address electrode(22) is patterned on a rear panel(21) and an addressing voltage applies to the Y-address electrode. A first dielectric layer(23) is laminated on a top of the rear panel. An X-address electrode(24) is patterned on the first dielectric layer and the addressing voltage applies to the X-address electrode. A second dielectric(25) and a protection layer(26) are laminated successively on the first dielectric. A barrier rib(27) is formed on the protection layer for sectioning discharge cells and a phosphor(28) is deposited on the side wall of the barrier rib. A sustain electrode is buried in the barrier rib and receives an RF signal. A face panel(31) is attached to the barrier rib.
