PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a spindle motor by absolute minimum current consumption with less noise and vibration from low-speed rotation to high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: The energizing angle of a spindle motor driver is varied corresponding to a motor rotation speed. The optimum energizing angle corresponding to a set motor rotation speed is decided by referring to a reference table (step S3) and transmitted to the spindle motor driver 35 (step S4). The spindle motor driver drives the spindle motor on the basis of the optimum energizing angle. |
