PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte element having superior electromotive force characteristics and thermal shock resistance. SOLUTION: The solid electrolyte element is a zirconia sintered body shaped like a tube with one end shut and containing magnesia by 6-12 mol%. Voids are present in the sintered body, and an area population of the voids having a void diameter of 1-30 μm is 1-10%. |
