PURPOSE: An outlet safety device is provided to give an elastic force to elastic restorers installed between a safety cover and a plug inserter, and to intercept an insertion hole of the plug inserter by the safety cover at normal times, thereby preventing an accident. CONSTITUTION: A plug inserter(3) is projected to an upper side of an outlet case(2). A power terminal is connected to an insertion hole(5) of the plug inserter. An axis hole(4) is formed on the center of the plug inserter. Many guide grooves(8) are formed on an external circumference of the plug inserter. A safety cover(9) comprises as follows. A fixing axis(10) is inserted into the axis hole. A hook(13) is hooked over the guide grooves to control a rotating angle. A through hole(11) is deviated from or corresponds to the insertion hole, to switch an entering of a plug terminal. Elastic restorers(A) are installed between the safety cover and the plug inserter to give an elastic force, to intercept the through hole of the safety cover and the insertion hole of the plug inserter at normal times. The elastic restorers conform to each other during rotation.
